This is a small self-catering cottage in a wonderful location close to Maumeen Lake at Emlaghmore with sweeping views over the lake, the Roundstone Bog and the Twelve Bens Mountains and yet only 5kms from Ballyconneely for nearest shops.

The interior is comfortably furnished and well equipped with sitting room/kitchen which has a solid fuel stove and electric cooker. There are two bedrooms (one with two single beds and the other with two bunks) and a bathroom with bath, W.C. and whb. The cottage has electric heating, TV, washing machine, microwave, and a fridge freezer.Bedding is provided.

A tarmac access road of approx 1km (off the Roundstone to Clifden coastal road) leads to the cottage, which is only 3km from the nearest safe sandy beach on the rugged Connemara coastline.

There is Trout fishing available on the lake and excellent salmon fishing and sea angling locally. Connemara 27 hole Championship Golf Links 9kms. Horse riding, surfing and windsurfing as well as being an ideal centre for walking. Roundstone 10kms and Clifden 14kms for excellent pubs and restaurants. Garden furniture.
